Tungnath Temple

 Tungnath is one of the highest Siva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar Temple. Tungnath temple in Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Tungnath is located at a distance of 445km from Delhi to Uttarakhand Tungnath. Tungnath trek is an open 12 months a year.

April to July: The weather is pleasant in Tungnath and the average temperature hovers around 16 degrees Celsius.

August to October: Pleasant and clear days. Chances of post-monsoon rainfall. Good for trekking and to enjoy the rich flora-fauna and serene beauty around Tungnath.

November to March: Tungnath in Winter (November - March) The temperature during winter can start from 10°-12°C but go down to -15°C easily. Carry layers of warm garments to keep yourself from freezing. Snowfall is common, and snow is abundant.
